Remark:  Our nation has long had some form of labeling informing consumers of the nation of origin where many of their food items were produced and processed. However, it has come in some cases with legal challenges and efforts to better define country of origin. Rod Bain looks at some of the history regarding country-of-origin labels for farm and food products in the U.S. in this edition of “Agriculture USA”.
